The original point was that covid delayed the development of msfs which delayed it’s release by a year, which isn’t true because msfs was always planned to be. You’ll buy 2024 and your addons will roll over into the new sim and then you can ditch the old one.

I bought msfs2020 on release day, and i have ~520 flight hours logged, so dollars per hour, this has been a good pay back.
